Heading home from NZ
After a week in New Zealand we discovered a pot of Gold under the Rainbow
Words cannot truly describe even a fraction of any of the amazing beauty that we saw.
Alas all good things must come to a close.
Serena and I got to experience so much in such a short period of time. We even got to meet some new friends along the way.
And Serena who loves animals so much got headbutted by a Horse.
Its no secret I love to ride and was allowed to ride once in Queenstown. Sadly I didn’t nab any KOM’s.
Thank you for experiencing our holiday with us.
The return trip ended up being quite an ordeal. From leaving Wanaka it took us over 15 hours until we arrived home at 1:30 am. The sleep-in the next day was very welcome.
We have a baby on the way. This was to be our last grand holiday before moving on into a new chapter of our lives. Many thanks to Chris & Christine who this wouldn’t be possible without.
With a week in New Zealand we got to live the dream!
Queenstown is such an amazing place to visit, and has activities which can appeal to everyone. We ended up fitting so much into the week. There was so many amazing things that we did that it was hard to pinpoint what our favourite was.
Without a doubt we saw some of the most stunning scenery we have ever seen, and could easily live in a place like this. We got to meet a Kiwi, and the only thing we missed out on was eating New Zealand cuisine. It’s an international town and has all sorts of amazing cuisine except for good ole NZ food.
Sure I’d love to return. With my bike of course.
