A day of photography in the Dandenongs

Posted on Updated on

I strained some ligaments in my left leg which had forced me off the bike for most of the week.  Maybe I needed some extra time to heal, but that’s not one of my strongest point.  I needed to find an easy ride to return with.  Thankfully there was some good weather forecast for the week, and a thought popped into my mind.  For this blog I have wanted to do a number of climb write-ups for this site.  Finding the the time to get the photos are always a challenge.  I figured that I could go into the Dandenong’s to take a tonne of photos, and bring my SLR along.  Since I would be stopping every 5 minutes each climb, possibly this would make for an easy day (do you like my screwed up logic?).

This was quite an enjoyable ride sight seeing, and stopping quite a bit to take in the sights and sounds of the stunning Dandenong Ranges.  I managed to knock out a century, which given where I was at during the week was nothing short of remarkable, and I even pulled up quite good the following day.

Here is the Strava Activity here:

Please enjoy a selection of photos that I took on this stunning day.
