Grantulla Road is in Kallista which lies in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges.  This town was named after the ancient Greek word “Kalliste” which means “most beautiful”. Directly south of the town is Grantulla Road which takes you through the magnificent Sherbrooke State Forest.  This is a road which offers cyclists some of the most spectacular scenery in the whole of the Dandenong Ranges.

No matter how many times you climb this great Road, you will always get an appreciation for why we climb.  The scenery is stunning and offers one of the best road surfaces, the Dandenong’s has to offer.  The climb also has a very consistent gradient, which makes it a pleasure to ride.

Grantulla Road is a road that you would gladly ride time after time and one of my favourite short climbs.
